Yes, you can. When purchasing bicycle insurance for an older or second hand model, you should insure the bike for its second-hand value. This is known as the indemnity value, where a deduction is made for wear and tear in the event of a claim.
Q. Do I have to let you know if I change my bicycle throughout my policy period?

Yes, you are required to let your insurer know if you change a bicycle on your insurance policy to a different model. If there is a change in the value of the bicycle your premium may also change.
